The Flying Eagle F5S Eclipse Black Skates are designed to compete with some of the biggest names in freestyle skates, offering premium features at an entry-level price tag.
The hard shell boot supports the ankle in all environments and styles of skating. The liner and cuff work together very well, utilising a v-cut calf area, for maximum comfort and flexibility. The F5S has one the comfiest liners in the Flying Eagle range, with a little extra toe room too. The comfort levels are a serious competitor in the market!
On the boot, you will find a 3-point closure system from lace, a 45-degree mid-strap and a top strap. The toe box is built from neoprene which allows the liner to wrap around your toe shape (and forgiveness if your foot is a few millimetres one way or the other from the optimum size).
The front and rear wheel axles are "flippable" by 180°. This will benefit those who are looking for. multi-purpose skates. Flipping the front and rear axles positions the wheels higher to the two middle wheels, called banana rockering. A banana rocker is the industry standard in slalom and freestyle skating, allowing for more extreme manoeuvrability and precision. If you don't want your skates to be this way 24/7, no worries. Just flip the axles back and they'll run in flat configuration too.
Combined with a machined aluminium frame, 80mm wheels (76mm on smaller sizes) and super fast bearings we have a very accessible skate which is fast, comfortable, supportive and manoeuvrable, at a great price. Perfect for the seafront, city, urban and slalom skating.
